Jill and Gabriel's love story began at Stanford University on one of the first days of freshman year. Jill, running late for her first class and a little lost on Stanford's sprawling campus, spotted Gabriel biking in his Stanford athletic gear. Assuming he was an older student, she stopped him in the road to ask for directions - little did she know that Gabriel was a freshman, just like her. Gabe gave his signature smile and remarked that he was lost too.

But Gabriel's charming smile and Jill's beautiful dimples didn't go unnoticed. "I remember being struck by Jill's bright, disarming eyes and the prettiest dimples I had ever seen," Gabriel recalls. Meanwhile, Jill found herself "caught off guard by his presence and infectious smile."

Despite the initial attraction, their paths didn't cross again until the summer of their sophomore year, when mutual friends invited Jill to a 4th of July party Gabriel was hosting off-campus. They talked for hours about everything from school to family to their most random interests, realizing they had a lot in common. Even though they didn't start dating until the winter of their junior year, they became fast friends over that summer.

Over the years, their bond grew stronger even as they faced the challenges of long-distance relationships between New York, California, Portland, Washington D.C., South Carolina, and beyond. With God's grace, they managed to maintain a deep connection that supported each other's career goals and ambitions. Now, they're excited to build their lives together and continue their journey as a couple.
